Over the following years, Merilin built a network connecting Bulgarian patients with leading Turkish medical specialists and institutions. Her work included organizing consultations, medical meetings and treatment, facilitating second and third medical opinions, and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.
FROM HOSPITAL REPRESENTATION TO MEDICAL NAVIGATION
After more than four years representing Güven Hospital, Merilin created her own healthcare platform, “Zhivot za Teb” (“Life for You”).
The focus expanded beyond one medical institution toward a broader approach to medical navigation and healthcare consulting. Patients gained access to different specialists, medical teams and hospitals across Türkiye, according to the specifics of their individual cases.
This marked an important evolution in Merilin’s professional role — from representing a specific institution to helping patients navigate among specialists, medical technologies and healthcare systems.
In 2022, she also became the host of Healthy Morning on Code Health, introducing Bulgarian audiences to leading Turkish medical specialists and contemporary approaches to diagnosis and treatment across multiple medical fields.

For more than a decade, she has worked in international healthcare consulting and the coordination of medical treatment in Türkiye for Bulgarian citizens. Her professional journey began in 2014 at Güven Hospital in Ankara and, in 2015, led to the opening of the hospital’s official representative office in Sofia.
